Details of Innovation	In the summer, the iron ring covering the bullock-cart wheels breaks due to shrinkage of the wood. The blacksmith joins it by heating it over a fire made with dry cow dung. In the process, the ring needs to be heated till it turns red and is then replaced over the wooden wheel. To prevent the wood from burning and make the ring hold on to the wooden wheel, the ring is cooled with water. The wheel covered with the red hot ring is rotated over a pit filled with water. The farmers often suffer from irritation on the legs. The lower portion of the feet sweats and causes itching. They dip their feet in the water in the pit to get relief from the irritation.
