Details of Innovation The farmer now uses all that she saw and learned in her childhood. She treats jaundice, asthma, earache, infertility, diarrhea and nausea, migraine, dog bites, cough, etc. Over the years, she has been experimenting and improving her skills. Two incidents in her life strengthened her will to learn and practice traditional medicine. About 15 years ago, her husband had a severe stomach ache which her grandfather and brothers treated; he was back to normal in one month. About ten years ago, her husband fell from a tree and badly injured his hips. At that time, she collected certain plants from the forest, prepared the medicines, and treated him; he recovered quickly and performed tasks normally. Plants for the treatment of various diseases are easily available only because of a forest nearby. Sometimes, plants are to be found only deep in the forest, for which one has to walk at least 4 to 5 km.s. Certain plants are available during the monsoon, which have to be dried and stored for later use. The plant leaves can be stored for two months, and the bark of the trees stored for two years. According to her, certain plants need to be collected in the morning, while others in the evening. Before using a plant, the farmers do some prayers; they do not waste any plant. Farmer says that they could get plants within a radius of 4-5 kilometers earlier, while now they have to go to Mahal, which is 10-12 km away. 1.ASTHMA KARAV/SHIRISH/KALIKARAV ROOTS ARE CRUSHED IN WATER 2 GAS TREATMENT SHINADI/VA LAKDI 3.EARACHE ASAN LEAVES ARE BOILED AND FILTERATE IS USED AS EAR DROP 4.COUGH GUBITA/DHORSHIRI BARK IS BOILED IN WATER 5.FEVER UPARSADI/VALTHAM ROOTS ARE CRUSHED SOLUTION IS PREPARED 6.STOMACH ACHE BABAR/ANGLI SARAGOVA/RANWAL BARK IS BOILED AND THE FIlTERATE IS USED 7TIGER BITE VAGAT/BHARGOT THORN OF VAGAT MIXTURE OF KUVADIA LEAVES 8 URINE PROBLEM(YELLOW URINE ) GODLIVA BURANDU MIXED WITH VEGETABLE 9 BLEEDING WOUND BURANDI/MOKHA POWDER IS PREPARED FROM THE BARK 10 ACIDITY SHIRI LEAVES ARE MIXED WITH ROOTS OF FOK TREE 11HEADACHE CHILARI FIVE HOLES ARE MADE IN ITS STICK AND A COTTON THREAD IS PASSED THROUGH THE HOLES TIED IT TO THE EAR 12 REGULARISING MENSTRUAL CYCLE BHUTZAD BARK OF THE TREE IS TIED TO THE STOMACH . 13 VOMIT AND DIARRHEA AAWAL BARK OF THE TREE IS BOILED WITH WATER AND FILTERATE IS GIVEN. 14 FRACTURE KALAM/BIWLA BARK IS MIXED WITH RED SOIL TO MAKE PLASTER. 15 JAUNDICE TETU BARK IS BOILED AND THE FILTRATE IS USED 16 PAIN WHILE URINATING BHUTIYA ALAN EXTRACT OF BARK IS MIXED WITH SUGAR 17 BURNS KARKANGVAL POWDER FROM BARK IS APPPLIED 18 THROAT PAIN LAJAMANI A BIDI IS PREPARED BY LEAVES AND ROOT OF GHODA 19 CHEST AND STOMACH POLAS TUBER IS BOILED AND INHALED TO RELIEVE THE PAIN 20 FEVER NILSOTI LEAVES ARE BOILED AND A DROP OF THE FITERATE IS PUT ON TONGUE AND THE REST APPLIED ON THE BODY. 21 POOR DIGESTION MINDHVO EXTRACT IS GIVEN WITH EGG 22 HEAT FROM BODY NIRGUD LEAVES EXTRACT 23 SNAKE BITE KUDI ONE AND HALF LEAVES ARE EATEN 24 WORMS IN CHILDREN SHEHUR ITS ROOTS ARE CRUSHED IN WATER AND ITS EXTRACT USED 25 DIARRHOEA AMBLA PULP TO DRINK 26 HEADACHE SIDOOR VAPOUR TO INHALE 27 BROKEN BONE KANAB BARK TO PASTE IT EXTERNALLY 28 BLISTER JUKA/HADAM POWDER FROM BARK 29 BODYACHE PODAVEIL INHALATION 30 DYSENTRY MARDASING 31 LACTATION DUDHPADA AND GUBIT LEAVES"
