Details of Innovation	Amrabhai Dayajibhai of Kumarli village of Mahua Taluk of Bhavnagar district uses the dust of cuminum cyminum for controlling the rodent menace. Sprinkling the powder of cuminum cyminum along the furrows in the field drives the rodents away. According to the farmer, it was observed that rodents never went into the field where cuminum cyminum was being grown. He realized that the scent of cuminum cyminum was strong andunbearable to the rodents, which consequently ran away.
