Most of farmers in the Dangs region are doing organic farming. They are not using any chemical fertilizers and irrigating the field with river and niagara water. Here, twenty one plants are used for botanical pesticides.

Dry or green bark of above all plants are pounded and soaked in six liters of water for six to eight hours. Thereafter, this mixture is strained and 150 ml is filled in the 15 L capacity pump for spraying. Single use of this treatment provides control of stem borer and sucking pest in the paddy (Oryza sativa) and finger millet (Eleusine coracana) crop.
Sukriyabhai having 4 ha of land, in which he grows Finger millet, Groundnut, Paddy and Soyabean crops.
It is a traditional practice.
