Details of Innovation	After completion of crop period of brinjal (Solanum melongena), the plants are uprooted by the farmers to grow the next crop. But additional yield can be obtained, if they are replanted. For this purpose, after getting first time yield, the plants are completely uprooted and roots are cut into pieces of one and half inch size. These roots are replanted elsewhere and new saplings bloom with flowers in 25 to 30 days. They bear fruits in very short period. The experiment is inspiring other farmers to adopt this practice.
