Details of Innovation	According to the information given by farmer Shri. Kamabhai, water coming into the field from outside causes denudation and also brings in weeds and salty material from outside that harm the crops. In order to stop this, Shri. Kamabhai made a fence and planted bits of water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica) creepers. These grew around the fence and formed a strong protective layer, because of which the in flow of water during the rainy season was stopped. As a result, denudation and the inflow of unwanted weeds also stopped. The denudation of the fertile layer of the soil was also arrested. He learnt this method from his elders and it is commonly practiced by all farmers in the village.
