Details of Innovation	Use of copper sulphate and calcium for the control of Balaya-disease in lemon. When crop is infected by "Balio-disease", the branches dry up, leaves wilt and gum oozes out from branches. To treat this, take 5 kg of calcium, 10 grams of copper sulphate and 10-12 litres of water and mix together to prepare a solution. The farmer believes that spraying the solution will protect the crop from the balaya disease. 1This is traditional method. 2Approximately 20% of people in the village are using this practice. 3He has learnt this practice from his forefathers.
