Details of Innovation	Kantibhai Veljibhai Vegda finds many uses for coconut (Cocos nucifera) water. He takes in one pump of 60 millilitres to 70 millilitres of green coconut (Cocos nucifera) water and sprays it on the sown castor (Ricinus communis) crop at regular weekly intervals. The efficacy of the method is borne by the fact that the coconut water-treated castor crop gives a higher yield than the untreated castor crop. The length of castor pod is also bigger in the case of coconut water-treated crop. Kantibhais innovation is very effective in relation to the vegetable crops as well. Even in those crops, spraying of coconut water at the flowering stage gives very effective results. He has been using the method for the last three to four years.
