| Details of Innovation | Before the seedlings of bitter gourd (Momordica charantia), ridge gourd (Luffa acutangula) and bottle gourd (Lagenaria leucantha) are planted in the field, a layer of chilli (Capsicum annuum) and brinjal (Solanum melongena) branches should be spread over the entire field. Only then the creepers of bitter gourd (Momordica charantia), ridge gourd (Luffa acutangula) and bottle gourd (Lagenaria leucantha) should be planted. By doing so, the fruits of the creepers remain above the ground and on the branches. The fruits can be isolated and good production is ensured. Under this method, once the creeper branches spread out, there is no need to make any further adjustments. The flow of air is unimpeded. This method has been thought out by farmer Govindbhai Hasani himself. |
