Details of Innovation Rats do immense damage to grain and food stocks both in the house and on the field. To control rats, Pandarnath Pawar says it with flowers. He collects about 100 gram flowers of glyricidia (Glyricidia spp) which are scattered in the area which rats infest. Rats eat these flowers greedily because they taste delicious, but they are in fact narcotic and poisonous. Rats fall unconscious as a result and an overdose puts them to sleep permanently. Thus, rat menace can be controlled. Pandarnath experimented with glyricidia plant five years ago. The experiment proved successful.
