Details of Innovation There is a possibility of rotting plants following heavy rainfall after the sowing of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea). Due to this, the whole plant becomes yellowish, and its growth is stunted. To cure this problem, take juice extract of 100 grams of neem flower, 100 ml each of buttermilk, and cow urine and mix them together in a vessel. A hundred milliliters of this solution is mixed in about 10 liters of water and sprayed with the help of a spray pump (10-liter capacity) on the affected groundnut crop. Three pumps are sufficient for 0.24 ha of groundnut for the recovery of the crop. As a result, the yellowness of the plant disappears, and plant growth is normalized. The effect of this practice is observed within two days of the treatment. This practice is in use for the last three years. It has been developed through self-experiment. About 75% of villagers in the Bhavnagar district have implemented it.
