| Details of Innovation | Before sowing, furrows are made. In these furrows, four tractors of "cheerodi" per 0.24 ha of land are applied. The plowing operation is not done afterward because it rubs the furrow. After raining, the seeds of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) are placed in the furrows in which the "cheerodi" are placed. Evaluation Not a single plant of groundnut is affected with white grub pest (Holotrichus conguinea), and hence the plant's growth is excellent. |
