Details of Innovation	According to the innovator, before sowing of garlic seeds, twenty kilogram ash is applied in the dust form in 0.24 ha of land. This application facilitates the germination of garlic (Allium sativum) seeds. Again, at the interval of 15 days, ash is applied to the field. At this time, 10 kg quantity of ash is applied and as a result, the growth of the plant is excellent. After that, 5 kg ash per week for the period of one month is applied to the field which keeps away diseases and pests. As a result, the production of garlic crop increases. Fifty per cent farmers are using this practice.
