Ingredients New improved drill
Details of Innovation When there are more weeds in the groundnut crop, then the instruments named beli and karabdi do not work and hence the innovator came up with the idea to make the required changes in the driller. Some drillers have five arms while the others have seven, depending on the length of the drill. In any drill, by keeping the four main arms separated at a particular distance in the crop of groundnut according to the crop along with the four arms one more arm is being attached. In this way,, for two arms, one extra arm is attached and, similarly, two twin arms are attached to the drill. By keeping some distance between these two twin arms, the new farm implement(instrument) is made. This implement is also useful for interior drilling and can also be used for making lanes. Over the last 6 years, 30 percent people in the village have been using this instrument. This farm implement is self-developed by the farmer. Many people are not using it because they fear that sand may get spread along with.
