Details of Innovation	Store paddy and pulse seeds with the help of the negundo chastetree (Vitex negundo). They add the leaf powder of negundo chastetree stored paddy and pulse seeds and also keeps away the storage pests. The method consists of leaving the threshed paddy in the field for three days and then threshing and sorting it, without winnowing, in gunny bags or is tied with paddy straw. Then in the month of March, during the Shivartrifestival, these are taken out and dried in the sun for three, five or seven days and nights. Later they are winnowed, cleaned and filled in gunny bags or tied with paddy straw with the addition of leaf powder of negundo chastetree in the proportion of 15:1 or 20:1.
