Details of Innovation To prevent dropping of flowers, farmer uses coconut water (Cocus nucifera) and milk. These two are mixed together to form a concoction. Thereafter, it is sprinkled at 60th, 75th and 90th day on the chilli (Capsicum annuum) crop. This process effectively reduces dropping of flowers and also it puts weight to induce germination of new buds. It is a traditional practice.
