Ingredients tractor with iron chains suspended from its rods.
Details of Innovation The tamarind harvester devised by Mr. A.I. Nadakattin is a novel and unique technology for harvesting tamarind. It has hundreds of iron chains hanging from its rod. This is carried on the trolley of the tractor. When the tamarind is ready for harvest, the trolley is passed in between two rows of tamarind trees. The chains would loosen the tamarind and tamarind which would fall down into the trolley.
