Details of Innovation	Generally grain storage is traditionally done in the bamboo containers. But they may be infested with the store grain pests in such containers. So to prevent the insect pest in store grains, nuts of emetic nut ( Xeromphis spinosa ) are kept in the grains inside the bamboo container. While storing, layer of grain or pulse are followed by the layer of nut of emetic nut ( Xeromphis spinosa ). In this way 3-4 layers are made, which takes the care of grain or pulse in storage. This is a traditional practice learnt from forefathers.
