| Details of Innovation | About 500 gram of garlic (Allium sativum) is soaked in 200 gram kerosene overnight. Then 100 gram chilli (Capsicum annuum) is added to it. Both the ingredients are then removed and pounded together and 200 millilitre water is added to make a solvent. This solvent is sprayed on the crop. It will soon be observed that the insect problem on pomegranate plant Punica granatum is reduced by about 50 per cent under this method. |
