| Details of Innovation | The rodents cause serious damage in the wheat (Triticum aestivum) crop. They make holes in the field and the plant roots are not able to grip properly. Rodents feed up the tender roots of the crop. As a result, the crop fails miserably. To stop the infestation of rodents in the wheat field, two wooden bars are used to make a stand. During night time, the owl bird sits on the stand and catches the rodents. The trapped rodent expels the noise by which, the other rodents leave the place and run away from the field. As a result, the wheat crop is saved of the rodent infestation. It is a self developed practice. |
