| Disease Description |
A yoke gall is a localized acute inflammation of the skin and subcutis on the neck of cattle or bullock due to constant friction caused by the yoke. Yoke gall is one of the most common abscesses observed in draught purpose bullocks and buffalo bulls. The yoke gall is a common condition seen especially in those animals used for carting. |

| Procedure of Use |
Blisters, warts and swelling are observed in the affected region of the bullock. The bullock is irritable.
To cure yokegall problem in bullock, use 200 g green pods of cowhage (Mucana pruriens), which are pounded in little water. This prepared paste is applied twice a day for three days on the affected area of bullock. The treatment completely cures the yoke gall problem in the bullock. There is no side effect of the treatment. While picking the pods, the fur of dry pods should not be the touched with the hands. As fur causes irritation and itching problem. To treat, one should use ghee and cow dung on the hands.
