Procedure of Use Narayana Siddi from Chittinahalli village in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka uses the tubers of byne plant to increase the milk yield in cows. He cooks one kilogrammes of tubers of byne plant and feeds it to the cow for nearly one month every day after calving. This increases the milk yield of cows.
