| Procedure of Use |
Farmers from the Madurai district of Tamil Nadu have devised a treatment to cure heart trouble (kundiselai) in bullocks. They mix human urine, leaves of veppalai (Wrightia tinctoria)</b>, also known as paala, and dried chilli fruits together and ground them. This mixture is then diluted with hot water and given as a drink to the bullock. Before giving this treatment the bullock has to be given three blows in the chest region by using the left leg shod with a leather chappal. |
