"Kasnabhai of district Banaskantha treat cough in animal by using hargu tree bark, aankol bark, arugula grass and spin gourd root. For treatment, 100 g "hargu" tree bark, 100 g "aankol" (Alangium salvifolium) bark, 50 g arugula (Eruca sativa) grass and 50 g spine gourd (Momordica dioica) root - these four ingredients are powdered using a pounding stone or mortar. Then 500 g water is added to the powder and stirrred well to make a solution. Thereafter, the solid particles are taken out of the solution and the remaining medicine is drenched to the affected animal twice daily for three days. This will cure bloat in animal." |

Farmer Lakhabhai Becharbhai Khatana treat cattle having cough by using mixture of onion and water. He makes approximately 100 gram onion paste dissolvedin 100 ml water and provide it through a hollow pipe to the cattle. Provide it for two days once in a day, cattle will be relieved of cough. |
