Falgunbhai D Patel, a farmer from Vandarvela village in the Vasanda taluka in Valsad district in Gujarat makes use of Sasta, Rabbit feces and vines of Amarvel or giant dodder (Cuscuta reflexa) to cure the Zukava disease in poultry. Patel soaks the vines of giant dodder in water for a day and then crushes them. He mixes it with Sasta and Rabbit feces.This concoction is fed to the birds and gives relief within a day. This remedy is practiced by most poultry keepers in Patels region. |
