For treatment of this condition, 2 number of "kaantala kola" fruits weighing about 3 kg total are brought and cut to obtain 2 kg pulpy pieces, after discarding thorns and skin. The pieces are then fed to the animal early in the morning, 2 kg per day for 3 days. This treatment cures the cough in 5 days. |
