Cryptolepis buchanani (Ganglong, family Asclepiadaceae) is a climbing tree widely used in folk medicine in Southeast Asia. Also its root, stem, and leaves are used for the treatment of bone fracture by tribal people in Arunachal Pradesh. It shows antibacterial, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and chondroprotective activities.
