| Procedure of Use | Gangubhai Bapubhai Mahla from Navsari district in Gujarat uses the combination of drumstick or horseradishtree (Moringa oleifera) , sonkheda , bark and roots of ratanjod or Barbados nut (Jatropha curcas) to cure bronchopneumonia in cattle. Gangubhai approximately pounds 100 grams of horseradishtree, 100 grams of sonkheda and 50 grams of Barbados nut to form a fine powder. This mixture is mixed with 400 millilitres of water and boiled for 15 minutes. The solution is cooled and given to the animal to drink. |
