Procedure of Use Some buffaloes do not come to "heat." They do not become pregnant and this leads to a loss for the cattle owner. To cure the condition, Sai takes the extract from the root of "ganthoda" or Indian long pepper (Piper longum). He gives two nal of this extract to the affected animal twice a day. The animal comes in to "heat" within two weeks. He learnt this remedy from his father. Extract juice from the roots of "ganthoda" or Indian long pepper (Piper longum) and give two nal (250 millilitres each) of this extract to the affected animal twice a day. The animal comes in to "heat" within two weeks.
