Some animals do not drop placenta after calving. It keeps on fidgeting and stops eating. Patel digs out old roots of "singatra" and boils them in water. He filters the solution and lets it cool. He gives 500 to 800 millilitres of this solution to the animal in the morning. It drops the placenta in two hours. He learnt this remedy from his father. "Singatra" grows in the monsoon up to four feet. Dig out old roots of "singatra" and boil them in water. Filter the solution and let it cool. Give 500 to 800 millilitres of this solution to the affected animal in the morning. |
