In diarrhoea the animal frequently discharges foul smelling watery stools. It weakens and its activities are hampered. Female farmer Nanuben from Gujarat informs that to cure diarrhoea in animal, she collects 1 kg "mamejvo" (Enicostemma hyssopifolium) herb, cuts it into small pieces and soaks it in 1 L water. After half an hour, she filters the solution and administers it to the animal in dosage of 250 g each twice s daily for two days. This gives complete relief to the animal from diarrhoea. She is using this remedy for the 25 years and so do many of the farmers from her village. |
