During the summer season, cattle may sometimes be down with simple fever. The cattle shiver and hairs on their body stand erect. When the cattle are shivering, their ears become cold and the animals feel restless. Cowherds have a way to tackle the problem. When the cattle are down with simple fever, they grind 200 gram of fruit, leaf or roots of "idarmina" to a fine powder. Then mix this with 400 millilitre water and drench it to the cattle. |
