To lighten bloat problem, roots of "khatiyo" creeper are pounded and then mixed with glassful of water. This decoction is drenched to the affected animal once for two days with the help of drenching pipe. In case of calf animal, the dose is reduced to half."

Procedure of Use Bloat affected animal shows the symptoms like, indigestion, swelling of abdomen, drum like sound with slightly tapping on left side of abdomen and constipation. For that, 300 to 400 g crushed bulb of air-potato (Dioscorea bulbifera) is added in one litre of water and drenched to the animal. The remedy gives relief to animal within 30 minutes of treatment. This plant is creeper and about 10 to 15 meter in height. About 30 to 35% people are using this practice.
