Procedure of Use "The animal affected with foot and mouth disease has ulcers in the mouth and hoof regions. The animal shows staggering movements. Its intake of feed is affected. Excess salivation is observed. The disease is generally observed before the monsoon season and during the winter. This is a contageous disease which may infect other animals in contact with an affected animal. Affected animal limbs, and milk-yield is reduced.To cure the injury in the hoof due to this disease powder of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum) is applied on the wound, which gives relief to the animal. The powder is applied till the disease is cured.This is a traditional practice learnt from ancestors."
