"In case of abscess and joint injury to an animal, especially a bullock, it is not inclined to do routine work. Harchandji Thakore makes a liniment from the leaves of crown flower (Calotropis gigantea) and 50 millilitres of sesame (Sesamum indicum) oil. He warms up the leaves before mixing with oil. This liniment should be applied on the abscess or painful joint with bandage. The treatment should be carried out for five to six days at two days intervals. This is a traditional technique." |
