Procedure of Use "After parturition, if the animal does not expel the placenta in time or if retention is prolonged, it may cause adverse effect on health of the animal which may become edgy. As a remedy, 100 g roots and thorns of ber (Zizyphus jujuba) are pounded well and then powder of tea (Camellia sinensis) is added and boiled the mixture in 1 L of water. It is boiled till half of the mixture remains in the container. This concoction is drenched to the affected animal and within two hours, placenta is expeled of the animal body. Thus, the animal is cured of the problem. Many people are using this practice in the village. It is a traditional method."
