Procedure of Use When an animal is down with sunstroke, Jagubhai Vadiya feeds it rice meal twice a day for four days. First, he takes 100 gram bishop weeds (Trachyspermum ammi), 100 gram jaggery and 100 gram rice gruel (Oryza sativa) and mixes the three ingredients. The rice meal is ready. This is fed to the affected animal twice a day for four consecutive days. This practice successfully cures the animal of effects of heat stroke.
