"Diarrhoea in sheep and goat occurs when the animal feeds too much lush fodder. The hind part remains covered with watery and stinking faeces discharged by the animal. For curing the condition, farmer Ishwarbhai Rupabhai of Dang district in Gujarat prepares medicine by crushing the leaves of ""vaishana"" vine, either leaves or roots of ""galvel"" (Meyna laxiflora) and roots of dodder (Cuscuta reflexa). He adds some water in the crushed plant material and administers the medicine to the affected sheep or goat twice daily for two days. This cures diarrhoea within 2 days.
