"When an animals horn is broken, it may lead to bleeding, cracking of the horn from inside, maggot infestation and even reduced milk yield. The Dangis use the latex of the banyan tree (Ficus benghalensis) and the ""jangali modad"" (Mitragyna parvifolia) tree and apply it on the affected horn of the animal. This technique mends the breakage within 2 days. " |
