Blisters, warts or swelling may be observed in the affected region of the bullock. The bullock is irritable as a result.
To treat this condition, Kimadiyaa Vejannandbhai of Sheel village of Mangrol taluka of Junagadh district, uses leaves of wind killer (Clerodendrum phlomidis). These are crushed into a paste. This paste is applied on the yoke gall of the affected bullock. The treatment reduces swelling and the bullock is cured of pain. It is a traditional practice learnt from elders. |
