Procedure of Use |
In cold months, when the animal is exposed to cold breeze, or when its exertion level is high, it is prone to infection, which is responsible for cough. Due to this problem, the animal oozes phlegm from its nostrils and shows signs of heavy breathing. There is also oozing of sticky mucus from the nose of animal. It sneezes a lot. The occurrence of this disease is more prevalent in bullock, cow and buffalo. To treat this condition, two to three bulbs of red onion (Allium cepa) are pounded well to get 200 ml of an extract. This extract is drenched to the affected animal once for two days with the help of drenching pipe. This treatment cures the cold problem in animal. It is a traditional practice learnt from forefathers and has been in use from last 8 years |
