Procedure of Use | Due to weakness, animal is not able to work properly and cause economical loss to the farmer. According to Rambhai Daki of Talodra village of Porbandar district, seeds of cowhage (Mucuna pruriens) are fed to the animal to cure weakness in animal. To obtain seeds of cowhage, trichomes on the pods of cowhage (Mucuna pruriens) are burnt and seeds are separated. As a remedy, 250 g seeds are mixed with the cattle feed and fed to the affected animal for five to seven days. This treatment provides strength to the animal. Hence, animal is cured of the weakness problem. It is a traditional practice learnt from forefathers. |
