Anoestrus: The cow is not observed in oestrus either because she has not come into oestrus (not cycling) or because oestrus was not detected (cycling).
True anoestrus: The cow does not come into oestrus because she has inactive ovaries.
Suboestrus: The cow has normal cyclic activity, but is not observed in oestrus due to weak or absent oestrous behaviour, or insufficient observation.

| Procedure of Use |
This condition arises due to the lack of proper care and nutrition. To cure this problem, 300 to 400 g fresh groundnut oil (Arachis hypogaea) is mixed with the powder of 30 to 40 g black pepper (Piper nigrum). This mixture is slight heated and then after cooling, it is drenched to the affected animal with the help of drenching pipe. In 8 to 10 days, animal comes into the heat.This practice has been in use from last 10 years. It is a traditional practice learnt from forefathers. |
