Procedure of Use The practice to increase milk production starts with parturition. At this stage, the animal is fed pearl millet (Pennisetum typhoides) and "ghughari" cake (a type of feed preparation). Besides, 100 gram groundnut oil and 200 to 400 millilitre sugary solution are mixed thoroughly and drenched to the animal after feeding it with pearl millet cake in the morning. A higher dose is administered to bigger animals. After the medication for eight days, the milk production increases by upto one-and-a-half times. This is a traditional practice.
