| Procedure of Use | "Owing to excessive bodily heat, a cow or buffalo has bleeding from uterus or epistaxis. To cool the body, Mathurbhai uses the herbal method. He takes 100 gram isabgul (Plantago ovata) and 200 gram sugar. These are mixed together in water and kept aside for four hours and then drenched to the animal two to three times a day. This cures the animal of epistaxis. Isabgul (Plantago ovata) plant grows up to 25 centimetres in height. It grows in sandy or settled water conditions, mainly in winter; cold and dry climate is most suitable for it; and its seeds are used for medicinal purposes." |
