For treatment of bloat in sheep and goat, 200 gram rivea (Rivea hypocrateriformis) leaves and 50 gram black tea (Camellia sinensis) are boiled in 500 to 700 millilitre water for five to seven minutes and alowed to cool. Therafter, the decoction is filtered and drenched to the suffering animal in a dosage of 100 millilitre. This cures bloat in sheep and goat. " |
