Precautions
Procedure of Use Half-boil pearl millet grains in water just sufficient to immerse the quantity. Take a little groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) oil in a previously heated pan, add this half-boiled millet and some jaggery and mix well. Feed this dough to the mother for at least eight days following calving. This will save the calf as also will increase milk yield throughout the cycle.
