Disease Symptoms / Clinical Signs Anuria itself is a symptom, not a disease. It is often associated with other symptoms of kidney failure, such as lack of appetite, weakness, nausea and vomiting. Other clinical signs includes: Animal stop to feeding, Animal does not sit, Frail, Stops ruminating, Animal cannot work in the field, Animal become dull
Disease Description Anuria is nonpassage of urine, in practice is defined as passage of less than 100 milliliters of urine in a day. Anuria is often caused by failure in the function of kidneys. It may also occur because of some severe obstruction like kidney stones or tumours. It may occur with end stage kidney disease. It is a more extreme reduction than oliguria (hypouresis), with 100 mL/day being the conventional (albeit slightly arbitrary) cutoff point between the two.
Disease Control To control this symptom in animal we need to focus on the control of causative agent
Disease Prevention
Precautions
Procedure of Use For the treatment of anuria in animals, 250 gram "rosadi" herb is cut into small pieces and boiled in 500 millilitre water till the decoction is reduced to 250 millilitre. The medicine is then given to the affected animal by drench. This cures anuria and the animal gets relief.
Etiology Causative Agent Anuria is mostly caused by problems in the kidneys. Some of the causes of anuria include: Diabetes, Kidney stones, Kidney failure, High blood pressure, Tumors
