To increase milk yield in cow or buffalo, it is daily fed with 250 g vegetable oil and 1 kg jaggery mixed with fodder, for the first 15 days after delivery. After the initial 15 days, the animal is given 500 g mustard (Brassica juncea) oil everyday.
