For treatment, 100 g "hargu" tree bark, 100 g "aankol" (Alangium salvifolium) bark, 50 g arugula (Eruca sativa) grass and 50 g spine gourd (Momordica dioica) root - these four ingredients are powdered using a pounding stone or mortar. Then 500 g water is added to the powder and stirrred well to make a solution. Thereafter, the solid particles are taken out of the solution and the remaining medicine is drenched to the affected animal twice daily for three days. This will cure bloat in animal."
